A pleasant working atmosphere at the office.

Freedom and informality

At Fabrique Invent, there’s a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not a large company, which makes it especially important to feel comfortable with your colleagues. Besides the responsibilities that come with the position, there’s room for informal conversations. Everyone knows each other personally, creating a sense of trust and connection. Taking initiative is highly valued, leading to a company culture where everyone feels free to contribute. And it certainly doesn’t always have to be serious. A healthy dose of humor and fun at work makes working at Fabrique Invent a lot of fun.

Team spirit

Although everyone usually works individually on projects, the entire team is always ready to help with questions or when you get stuck. Ultimately, we have to do it together, which creates a strong team spirit within the company. We often have to spar or brainstorm to prevent people from getting too bogged down in their own thoughts. Communication within the team is short. You don’t have to schedule a meeting or email someone with your question; you can just drop by. This ensures you can move forward quickly on your project and that the rest of the team is well-informed about what you’re working on.

Outings and (sports) events

The team regularly organizes activities outside of work to enjoy themselves. Think of board game nights or Friday afternoon drinks at the pub. But even more often, the outings are sporty. Every year, almost everyone participates in the Golden Tenloop in Delft, where they compete to see who can run the 10 km fastest. We also do some climbing and sometimes even hit a ball on the padel court. To top it all off, this year’s surprise company outing to Disneyland Paris was a surprise. If this doesn’t improve the team atmosphere, what will?

A nice workplace

Finally, our green and bright office contributes significantly to the work atmosphere. The plant collection was recently expanded. It’s a pleasant office to be in. No stuffy cubicle office, but an open space with a high ceiling, plenty of natural light, and beautiful plants. Also, be sure to check out this older blog post about our building in Agnetapark!
