- The guiding profile of the Portofino – Lewens
Winner of the GDA Aluminium Profile Award 2020. This is a highly ingenious profile that incorporates many functions into a very compact profile. For example, it features a complex, small click mechanism, and it also allows for the insertion of tension springs. The profile is also so stiff that it appears perfectly straight to the eye, despite the heavy load and size of the structure.

- Track Profile – Dutch Electro
Besides very large profiles, we also make very small ones. For a completely different industry, namely automotive lighting, it’s important that the fixtures are small, indestructible, and stylish, but also have enough surface area to dissipate the heat from the LEDs. Aluminum extrusion is also excellent for this. We calculate how much surface area is needed to make the design as slim and suitable as possible. One of the smallest examples is the Track from Dutch Electro, with a surface area smaller than your thumb. The great thing about this profile is that it can also be expanded as a building block with all kinds of profiles to meet the customer’s requirements. Plastic profiles, casting caps, and even one of the smallest aluminum click profiles we’ve designed can be clicked onto it. And as technical readers will know, the smaller the profile, the harder it is to achieve the required travel in your click!
