European Product Design Award 2023 for our Capri Due sun awning.
After winning the European Product Design Award in 2022, we decided to participate again last year. The EPDA is a competition that looks for practical and beautiful creations that solve a problem or make life easier.
This year, we submitted the new Capri Due sun protection system. This system is a redesign of the old Capri model, which has been successfully sold by our customer Lewens for the past 15 years. The sun protection has been aesthetically modernized, but the internals have also been changed. By redesigning the system’s dropout and eliminating the gas spring in the guide profile, the Capri Due is more durable, lighter, and cheaper to produce than the original design. Winning the European Product Design Award is a sign that we develop high-quality products. We hope the Capri Due will last another 15 years.
